The game started with the luxury of not 10 but 12 players!!

It saw some fresh faces to the club make their debut. Although it was a little intimidating looking at the opposition dugout and seeing about 7 subs on the sideline all teenagers! (especially being without the twins and the 4 musketeers!)

We had a lot of possession resulting in a few chances and some short corner routines made up on the fly as we were without our regular corner takers.

Eventually we broke the deadlock with a strike from ‘H’ 1-0!! They then had a few breakaways with some super saves resulting in a quick 16 being taken and again a beautiful run diagonally towards the D and crossed to Noeleen who put it in the back of the net, right as the first half whistle was blown.

At the start of the second half we faced down a period of pressure including surviving five short corners in quick succession, some with only 3 in defence!

Fifteen minutes into the second half the hosts got their reward as they pulled a goal back, however, just as it looked like they might get an equaliser, Kim scored from close range after yet more great work from H, to make It 3-1.

All that was left was for Noeleen to grab her second of the game as the Ladies 3’s sealed an excellent 4-1 win and make it three wins from four games.

Well played all and congratulations to Lynne who was named player of the match.
